Curious Learners

We’re thrilled that our son is attending Kindergarten at GCCS! The teachers are very comprehensive academically and enthusiastic about Christ-centred learning. We appreciate the smaller class sizes and we feel that our son is having a wonderful educational, social and spiritual experience. As new parents to GCCS, we have come to appreciate the sense of family throughout the school – from the staff, to the parents, to the kids. We also appreciate how special it is to have a parent-led school and having a wonderful Principal who has a wealth of experience in Christian education and who takes a well-considered approach to all aspects at GCCS.

GCCS has made such a difference in our daughter’s life. On her first day, she was feeling pretty shy and nervous as she changed schools halfway through the year. Her teacher noticed she was having a hard day and took the time to pray with her and encourage her. We have continually been blown away by the attention and care all the staff and teachers give each student. We have noticed a big change in her pace of learning and her confidence. It’s been such a blessing to see how much our girl is thriving at GCCS.

We are part of the GCCS Family, and our children love school! Both of them have been at GCCS since JK, and it has been an amazing experience for them. The Kindergarten teachers provide a strong biblical foundation for the kids, through learning about God’s great creation, daily Devotions, prayer, Bible stories, singing praises to God, and incorporating God in their teachings throughout the day.

Our son joined the preschool program in the fall of 2021, after a great experience there we had him continue on to JK for 2022/23. Being new to the area I felt a sense of community right away, I love sending our son there and he is learning so much! God and faith is incorporated into daily learnings. I was also blown away by their Christmas performance, their music/arts program is amazing and I look forward to seeing my kids explore those areas of learning.
