Curious Learners

We have had a truly wonderful experience with the kindergarten program at GCCS. Our kids began attending GCCS in 2024, and the kindergarten program has been a positive and nurturing introduction to school for our son. The teachers are caring, attentive, and provide a top-tier educational experience in a supportive and engaging environment. They take the time to really get to know each child and thoughtfully tailor learning to meet individual needs, which has helped our child grow both academically and socially. Our son really enjoys math and his teachers have provided him with extra exercises to match his interest.  We are especially grateful that our children are learning about the Bible and growing in their faith alongside their education. We feel very thankful to be part of such a welcoming and faith-centred school community.

Our experience with the Kindergarten program at Guelph Community Christian School has been incredibly positive from the moment my son started. We have seen how intentionally the program nurtures the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. One of the things I treasure most is hearing my son come home excited to share what he has learned, whether it’s practicing his letters, beginning to read, or discovering something new about the world around him. I love hearing him sing the worship songs he has learned at school, singing with such pride and genuine, childlike faith.
I deeply value the strong collaboration between parents and teachers. The open and honest communication ensures my son has what he needs to grow and learn, and truly sets him up for success in the years ahead. He has been encouraged to explore, ask questions, and engage in the world around him in ways that feel joyful and meaningful. We are so grateful for the nurturing, Christ-centred environment GCCS provides.

As parents of two children in kindergarten, choosing the right school was one of the most important decisions we’ve had to make – and we couldn’t be happier with what we’ve experienced so far at GCCS.
We have seen incredible academic and social growth from our children as well as the nurturing of a strong moral foundation rooted in faith. The kindergarten teachers have created a safe, joyful environment where learning is fun and God’s love is woven into each lesson. Our children eagerly come home each day excited to share Bible stories and new skills they’ve learned.
The community at GCCS has been a wonderful experience. It’s a place where faith, learning and friendships thrive. We are grateful to be part of such a supportive and inspiring environment.

We’re thrilled that our son is attending Kindergarten at GCCS! The teachers are very comprehensive academically and enthusiastic about Christ-centred learning. We appreciate the smaller class sizes and we feel that our son is having a wonderful educational, social and spiritual experience. As new parents to GCCS, we have come to appreciate the sense of family throughout the school – from the staff, to the parents, to the kids. We also appreciate how special it is to have a parent-led school and having a wonderful Principal who has a wealth of experience in Christian education and who takes a well-considered approach to all aspects at GCCS.

Our son joined the preschool program in the fall of 2021, after a great experience there we had him continue on to JK for 2022/23. Being new to the area I felt a sense of community right away, I love sending our son there and he is learning so much! God and faith is incorporated into daily learnings. I was also blown away by their Christmas performance, their music/arts program is amazing and I look forward to seeing my kids explore those areas of learning.
