Community Engagement

GCCS Board of Trustees

GCCS is governed by a Board of Directors which is elected by the membership of the school’s society. The members of the board meet most months and directly oversee the policies and the strategic planning of the school and also provide both oversight and support to the Principal who is primarily responsible for the daily operations of the school.

A note from our Board Chair

On behalf of the Board of Directors for GCCS, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! For returning families, new families, and prospective families: it is our prayer that you and your children experience our community striving to nurture, educate, and inspire our students in such a way that they grow academically, spiritually, and personally. As we look forward to the year to come, we are excited to see how God will reveal Himself, and continue to bless this community.
It is wonderful to look at the year ahead through the lens of this year’s school theme: the Fruit of the Spirit. We pray that our students, staff, and community will witness the fruits of the spirit through music, sports, drama, community events, and the spectrum of academics that GCCS offers.
We celebrate a sense of excitement in our parent and alumni committees and particularly our Project Legacy Fundraising committee. Last year the committee, with the help of some anonymous matching donors, raised a significant amount of funds that will be applied to our mortgage. We thank God for the incredible blessings He has already provided, and faithfully look forward to the blessings He will continue to bring.
Ultimately, it is our hope that as we go about our everyday lives this school year – recess, homework, sports meets, committee meetings, fundraising events, and pursuing academic excellence – we demonstrate and teach our children the joy found in living for Christ and growing in our love and service to Him.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at GCCS!

Pledging to GCCS

Donation pledges represent the generous commitment of donors to contribute a specified amount of money to an organization over a predetermined period. These pledges can take the form of conditional donations, where payment is contingent upon the fulfillment of certain conditions, or unconditional donations, which are given without any specific requirements or stipulations.
