Our recent Christmas concerts, He Shall Reign Forevermore, were a truly joy-filled celebration of faith, music, and community. Students from Kinder through Grade 8 took to the stage, sharing their gifts through singing, band, ukuleles, tone chimes, recorders, and even a few special surprises. Each performance reflected weeks of hard work, dedication, and a heart for celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
The evening showcased the incredible talents of every class:
- Kinder P delighted the audience with Hush! There’s a Baby!
- Kinder C sang Your Love for Me, filling the room with sweetness and joy.
- Grade 1 told the story of Jesus’ birth, bringing the nativity to life through words and song.
- Grade 2 performed Nutcracker March using plates, adding rhythm and fun to the evening.
- Grade 3 played Shepherds’ Joy on recorders, creating a lively and festive sound.
- Grade 4 played O Come, O Come, Emmanuel on tone chimes, their harmonies adding depth and beauty.
- Grade 5 performed Christmas Carol Celebration on tone chimes, demonstrating skill and coordination.
- Grade 6 sang and played Joy to the World on ukuleles, filling the room with energy and cheer.
- Grade 7 Band delighted the audience with a spirited rendition of Jingle Bells.
- Grade 8 Band’s class Christmas performance with a dynamic Carol of the Bells, impressing all with their musicality.
The whole-school performance of He Shall Reign Forevermore was a truly moving moment. Every student’s voice came together to bring the song’s message to life, creating a powerful and emotional experience that resonated with everyone in the room. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy, hope, and love at the heart of the Christmas season.
The evening was more than just a concert—it was a celebration of faith, creativity, and community. From the youngest Kinders experiencing the stage for the first time, to our senior students performing with confidence and skill, the night was a testament to the dedication and teamwork of our students and staff. A few surprises sprinkled throughout kept the audience engaged and added extra magic to the evening.
