This week, Grade 3 took Spirit Week into their own hands—literally! After watching their teachers have a blast, they secretly planned their very own celebration without letting Ms. Pennings in on the fun.
The week kicked off with Moo Monday, where the classroom was overrun with cows…who also talked “moo” all day long! Tricks Tuesday had everyone swapping names, causing plenty of giggles and mix-ups. On Onesie Wednesday, the students cozied up in their favourite onesies, and Fairytale Thursday brought storybook characters to life, from Little Red Riding Hoods and wolves to little pigs and princesses.
The highlight of the week? Ms. Pennings got the ultimate revenge on Tricks Tuesday! She pranked the class not once, but twice—who knew spaghetti could grow on trees or that a flood drill could be so convincing? Grade 3 fell for both tricks, and the classroom was filled with laughter, surprises, and a whole lot of spirit.
It was a week full of creativity, teamwork, and a little harmless mischief—exactly what Spirit Week is all about!
