This winter we have had a lot of snow and we wanted to make the most of it during our recess times. So the girls in our Grade 6 class had an idea and worked as a team to start ‘Speedy Hillz’. Speedy Hillz is a super fun ice slide with many other little slides. We built it on the hill near the outdoor classroom by the treeline. The whole concept –  just slide down on your butt. You do not need a sled. We did make one rule: you can’t stand up and slide down it.. We put up posters around the school telling people what it was all about and how it worked. We wanted to create Speedy Hillz for the enjoyment of others. Everyone who used it said they liked it !
